The Earthkeepers after school program is sponsored by The Friends of The Libby Museum, through The Libby Museum Without Walls. The Libby Museum Without Walls mission is to re-connect children with the natural world by making developmentally appropriate nature education a sustaining and enriching part of the daily lives of elementary school children, inspiring children's love for the earth and helping them become tomorrow's generation of caring environmental stewards.
Designed by Dr. Henry Libby and built in 1912, the Libby Museum of Natural History has continued its founder’s original goal of educating visitors to the wonders of the natural world for over ninety years. The Museum Without Walls brings Dr. Libby’s vision to local children enrolled in the The Governor Wentworth Regional School District who could not otherwise benefit from the Libby Museum enrichment experiences.
Thank you for supporting The Earthkeepers of New Durham Elementary School!
