After a day of squirting sanitizer, wrestling with wipes, and rubbing alcohol into your dry, chapped hands come home to healing. Nature's colors, textures and fragrances in their endless combinations inspire us to create the very best, all natural, artisan soaps.
Winnipesaukee Soap Company artisan soap is carefully handcrafted in small batches and cured for six weeks to ensure a long lasting, gentle bar. Our signature cold processed soaps are formulated with a blend of Olive, Coconut, Soybean and Hemp Seed oils. Unrefined Shea butter is added at the end of the process to provide extra moisturizers. This combination of oils and butters produces a gentle cleansing bar of soap rich in lather and bubbles which is suitable for all skin types. We use all natural ingredients including infused essential oils in our soaps.
As a soap-makers for over 25 years, we love creating soap! In addition to our signature line, we offer seasonal varieties, goat's milk soaps, yogurt soaps, cocoa butter soaps; soaps with healing salts, clays and mineral muds, bits of almonds, oats, herbs, and even seaweed and coffee beans for gentle exfoliating. Aromatherapeutic oils are carefully blended to relax, rejuvenate, and restore your body, mind and spirit.
Winnipesaukee Soap Company bars contain no preservatives, no petroleum products, and no parabens. Natural ingredients give you soft, smooth, and wonderfully scented skin. Once you try Winnipesaukee Soap Company artisan soap you won't want to go back to using commercial soaps that are filled with ingredients difficult to pronounce and unhealthy for your body. Think of our soap as a vacation in paradise for your skin!
Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest lake in the state of New Hampshire. "Winnipesaukee" is a Native American name which means "smile of the Great Spirit" or "beautiful water in a high place." Surrounded by three mountain ranges, the wooded shoreline and crystal clear water of this spring-fed lake make it a popular year round destination to rest and relax in beautiful surroundings.
My name is Susan Berry. As a child I spent every summer on the lake; and when I had children of my I own I made the village of Wolfeboro, on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, my full time residence.
With a background in holistic health and as a soap-maker, Winnipesaukee Soap Company was born from my love of nature and my desire to a share an ethically produced, hand-crafted soap from sustainable ingredients. Natural botanical extracts infuse delightfully fresh fragrances into the luxurious, all-natural skin conditioners. Every bar is lovingly made with our special nourishing blend of oils, mineral muds, salts, clays, botanicals, and butters which create a rich, creamy lather. Our soap leaves your skin remarkably soft, glowing, and healthy.
Our highly scented and long burning candles are made with lead free wicks and only the finest soy wax and premium oils available. We offer a large variety of delightful fragrances in gorgeous reusable glass jar containers and in rustic dough bowls and vintage wooden sugar molds. We hand pour and artfully craft each candle right here on the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
